Sorry, urban myth. I checked it out on snopes.com. Just type the

zookeeper's name in the search there if you want to check it out yourself.

Personally, I have always hated the Darwin Awards anyway. They make a joke

out of the stupid ways people die, but every one of those people have family

and friends who probably don't find it so amusing. Just my opinion.
