Can Isocort cause heartburn/acid reflux? If so, what do you do if you can't tolerate it? Something is causing this in me, and I"m suspecting it's the isocort. I can't just stop it, can I, to see? I'm on 20mg. I have a constant pain/pressure/fullness feeling, with some burning 24/7. I've been on the isocort for 2 months or so now. I was having some problems pre so not sure this isn't just a progression.

Thanks!

Liz

Hi Liz ~

You probably need some HCL. This happened to me on Isocort, too. I use a brand called Zypan from Standard Process (I take 2 for each Isocort dose), but you can find HCL at most any health food store.

take care,

~

Hi ,

I have Zypan and that also caused heartburn too. But maybe I'll give it another try.

Thanks!

Liz

I almost always take with food. (Protein, fats) It's possible my tummy is just plain ole messed up :)

How much of the cream equals 5mg of HC?

Thanks!

Liz

Eating fats and protein with EVREY dose will help this. Some people have found they needed to go to HC cream to avoid the stomach probnlems.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WVhttp://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
