Guest guest
Well, I dont know how it is in germany, but here you can order your own tests. Also, can you just go to a specialist, hemotologist? As far as green tea is concerned it blocks some absorbtion of iron.
Guest guest
How do you mean order my own tests. i went to 1 doctor and asked him to run the necessary blood panel for iron overload - he refused. I needed to have very strong and distinct symptoms before he would do this - usually at this point the patient has almost 1 foot in the grave. My husband and I are experiencing some very expensive and painful discrimination because we American not German and I think this carries over into the medical field. On top of that a very large percentage of German doctors are extremely arrogant, egos the size of an E class Mercedes. Needless to say an American with an opinion in a German doctor's office is not a good mix. Plus when I hit the lows like I am feeling now, I don't have any fight left in me. In order for me to go to a hemotologists I need to have a 'transfer' docoment from my normal doctor - she gave me one for an endo instead. The other big problem is that iron overload in the U.S. is at a rate of 1 case per 100 to 200 people. Germany is double that amount and is considered a low risk zone but I come from a high risk country/nationality. Irish people have an even higher risk than Americans. What blood tests are you talking about that can be ordered. Do you mean via a doc or via a private lab. > > Well, I dont know how it is in germany, but here you can order your own tests. Guest guest
I am not sure about ordering your own labs in Germany, here we have websites wher we cna just log on pick our tests and pay for them, and then they send us a lab slip to go to any one of the many labs they have throughout the country for blood draw/urine collection. BTW Gree ntea is loaded with Fluoride. I would NOT drink it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I need to find an American lab that has a German 'franchise'. Thanks for the green tea tip. It might explain something. If I drink the stuff after not drinking it for severals days/weeks - I feel really great but on day 2 I feel a real low. Of course this happens with almost everything I try. > > I am not sure about ordering your own labs in Germany, here we have > websites wher we cna just log on pick our tests and pay for them, and > then they send us a lab slip to go to any one of the many labs they have > throughout the country for blood draw/urine collection.
