Oh no Val...Remember I had stomach pain from adding 5 mcg t3..and thought I was allergic? Well, I started to add the same t3 again..yesterday and today..and here it is again! severe stomach pain and gas(something I dont ever get.)

Im sooo sad, because I really love the way I feel more clear headed and energy. I feel defeated.

I guess I can ask my doctor to go ahaead and order the compounded t3 in olive oil capsuls. I hope theres a chance it wont hurt like this. Will it work as well, though?

I honestkly think my SHBG went high from HC use. Before HC my free Testosterone was ion thehigh side, but since being on HC it dropped to WAY below range. My total testosterone has not changed much so I am assuming this i from SHBG and using this as an indicator. But I wil nto know if T3 actually affected it as now I am off Hc and back on Armour. but I knwo my free Testosterone went low LONG before I went on all T3.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/------------------------------------

" so maybe my dr is right. She says that here is no hypothyroid. "

NO she is not right. I had hypothyroidism an d almost died from ti LONG

before I had ANY adrenal involvement. You might ask her if she ever

heard of Hashimoto's?

I also have NORMAL cortiols now and still have hypothyroidism. I KNOW better than to wean thyroid down too much, I have paid that consequence MANY times! LOL Now if I feel ONE sniffle(tear) from pain, or anythign short of my animals, I know it is hypothyroid depression. It is one symtpoms I cna absolutely count on though others are different. My BP is also a pretty good indicator of thyroidstatus as it starts climbing when I go hypo.

Boy..and Drs want to know why people self medicate!

So, if you would have stayed at the 150mcg and added hc that would have been right?Confusing, as most say they have backed down from t3 after reverset3 is cleared...is that not correct?

I am that exhausted as you were and have been for yrs. Its like a scarey secret I try my hardest to hide. I shake and cant deal with anything. I cant go to the movies...I feel like Im going to faint when I lift my arm to hang clothes at my job. I just breath deep and pray I wont fall. Everyone else is prancing around shopping for cute clothes and Im praying to stay coherent. Ive tried to tell doctors for yrs...but I guess they think I look pretty or young or whatever and dont realize that Im hanging on by a thread. Its very sad.

Want to add to this...... last year my doc casually mentioned that perhaps I didn't have a thyroid issue and it was adrenals all along. Thought about this for sometime. Maybe he was right. He wasn't suggesting I do anything, just threw a though out.

Last Feb. I felt I was hyper and reduced T3. From this point I kept feeling hyper and reduced some more week by week. Went from 150 mcg to 25 mcg SRT3. Took me 3 months to come down on T3 all the while feeling worse and worse and thinking it was hyper. It wasn't hyper, it was my adrenals freaking out from hypo. I thought my thyroid would run itself on cortisol. WRONG! By April I was having a major come apart. We were on vacation. Hair falling out in handfuls with scalp pain, and RT3 that had built back up again, dirt low frees, killer depression, crying, laying in bed all day, pure hell...... then it hit me that I had totally misunderstood my sx all along. I wasn't hyper, I was low HC which made me feel I was hyper and my thyroid couldn't make it with just adrenal support.

Back up I went on t3. It was a miserable climb out of the pitch black hole I was in. Second big hole I dug. First was the adrenal crash that previous Dec. It took 4 months of resting and eating well to pull out. Needless to say I was sick with myself for the poor call I made. Took 4 months for my hair to stop falling out in handfuls. The hypo was so bad and the weakness so deep that I thought hard about walking to the mailbox. I couldn't go anywhere with anyone. My life came to a dead halt. It was everything I could muster to get to the grocery for food.

It can be ridiculously confusing to separate adrenal from thyroid. Hyper and hypo thy and adr can look similar unless you take temps, bp, hr and bs. Lowe encouraged me to make a graph of symptoms and rate them twice a week. This has been excellent for determining where I am with thy and adr and which is which. I can't afford anymore crash and burn experiences.

Dont you feel like most of that was cuased by the hypothyroid and adrenal problems that were untreated, though?

They say heart problems are caused by hypo...

How does RT3 build up when you werent' taking any T4? Are you assuming

your thyroid gland was still making some?

My energy on T3 was 100 times better than on Armour whne I had high Rt3.

But I am doing OK on Amrour now and even ona lower dose than I used to

take. I just cannto compare myself and MY energy levels to someone that

has normal IGF-1 and not Diabetic as both those issues cause low energy

and other probalems.

But I stil won't knwo as I am not on HC now so I woudl think the

Testosterone (free levels) ill come back up if it was the HC causing it

or iif it was the T3 causing it. Either way if my adrenals are truly

healed it should come back up and i should be able to at least lower the

dose of T I am taking.

No I did nto stiop hc for high Test. I am supplementing my Testosterone.

I got off HC as my adrenals are HEALED. I no longer need it. But ti took

3.5 years of juggling HC and changing lifestyle and fixing other health

issues to be able to heal my adrneals.

I was refering to this email of yours where I think you said you are hypoadrenal now...

Subject: Re: Re: Growing more sensitive to T3To: RT3_T3 Date: Sunday, December 28, 2008, 1:27 PM

Oh absolutely but treating them is not fixing the damage done by 30 years of BAD treatments. I do nto feel hypothyroinow, now am I hypoadrenal but th other issues are still there and I am nto sure I cna ever get back to really feleing good with the issues I have from poor treatment for so long.-- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/------------------------------------
