Hey Melisa

I will definately say that the progress we saw on Friday motivated

me to keep that helmut on and realize its for Dylans best interest.

I feel the same way about Dylan being a trooper, especially with all

the sweating- its just got to be uncomfortable. Ian can actually

take off the helmut himself?

Im not sure how long Dylan will be in the helmut- we go back on 2/13

for our 2nd check up. She said in the begining it would be anywhere

b/w 8-16 weeks - I just hope he has graduated by his 1st bday in

June.

We didnt make it to the aquarium but hope to attend the next one :)

Long Beach is a little far for us so I hope its closer.

Take care-

Ian doesn't go for an adjustment until February 27th! So far today,

he's had it on the whole time, since midnight, well except for 15

minutes this morning when I fed him. I let him air out because his

forhead was so red.

though, he is just being such a trooper, I'm so proud (corny, huh?)

improvement. My Orthotist said you see the most improvement the

first month, then the second month you'll see half the improvement

of the first month, the third month you'll see half the improvement

of the second month and so on...do you have any idea how long Dylan

will have to wear it? My Orthotist keeps saying I'll probably stop

putting it on Ian as soon as the May hot weather hits. I would hate

to have him wearing it in the hot weather but I don't want to

terminate his treatment before it's time either. I guess we'll just

wait and see.
