Guest guest
You're right about the fact and fiction. There are loads of studies, most of them are not in the English language though, either Japanese, Chinese, Korean or Russian. It's been proven that magnets affect circulation and a double blind placebo study with over 300 diabetics with peripheral neuropathy in 24 centres in the US including 5 podiatry teaching centers by a reputable physician (neurologist I think) convinced that magnets couldn't possibly work was done a few years ago and the results were that 90% of patients had an improvement with hurting, burning, tingling or numbness. I saw the doctor being interviewed on tv. Of course this type of news didn't spread very far and wide because it's not a drug. I would think if it works for a lot of people with neuropathy then it might also work for MS which is nerve-related. I've seen at least 7 people I know personally benefit from them at least somewhat and only one who was already in a wheelchair and pretty immobile who didn't. I've also seen it work for a quadropeligic's (sp?) breathing and a post polio victim. Magnets really helped me with energy and sleep (35 years of insomnia cured in about 3 weeks). There's a study that was done about sleep and MS. Sleep is very important for healing. Just as important as diet and drinking water. Strength of magnets is important, but not as important as the placement and type. If you aren't a therapist, use a simple bi- polar magnet and you can't go wrong. South facing magnets can stimulate viruses if over-used. If anyone wants MS testimonials, I have quite a few on file that I might email privately but they are not to be posted online. I'm not sure about the Enermed system as it is programed for the person's body. What happens when the body's magnetic fields change? When the body starts to heal? Will it work in other countries that have a different magnetic field? Q-link has different necklaces depending on what part of the world you live in. I wonder if this is similar?
