I'm still on bartonellA treatmentIts definitely helpingI so bactrim twice daily and rifampin 600 mgA Bart Byron white I couldn't do anything much before and had slammed Lyme for years but the coinfections big problem My deep bone pain improvingHead still stuffed dizzy balance issues severe fog pressure but extreme vice like pain is gone Neck still stiff sore but maybe it babesiaStill very fatiguedSent from my iPhone

I know what you mean. Bartonella is notoriously hard to kill. I feel bacterim hits it but you can’t stay on it long enough to get rid of it, it comes back when you go off the Bacterim. I have tried rifing on a doug coil for Bart twice a day and knocked my load down dramatically but still didn’t ‘get rid of it’. It comes back so quickly when you slow or stop treatment that it is depressing. Hard to keep up the relentless twice daily treatments when you read others that do this still have Bart after 3 years. I noticed when rifing twice daily that my symptoms of balance problems , spaciness, tight ness in neck and pain behind eyes were improved. I wonder how many ‘Lyme symptoms’ are actually Bartonellla on top of lyme. I have heard stories of people with lyme who live largely normally once rid of Bart and Babesia etc. My friend in Sydney who has Lyme has treated her Babesia with mepron etc and is now testing clear. She had huge balance problems and had to wear pressure stockings for years and no longer has to. Her quality of life has increased dramatically just by eliminating Babesia. She is still dealing with Bartonella as she tested still positive recently. I would love to hear from people who have eliminated Bartonella and to know what they did. I was on Bactrim for Bartonella, I definitely herx the first few months on it. Now if I take it I feel better and my symptoms go away, but I don't herx anymore, and my symptoms always come back when I go off of it. Interesting because bactrim is one of the few anti biotics i cannot tolerate i feel very sick on them, maybe its herx and i am killing things off. Im not on antibiotics now because im still waiting to do tests for co infections which i do not have money to hardly buy vitamine C. so im waiting, but i would and may start on antibiotics, i found clindamycine seemed to work for me and Biaxin which is suppose to be good for lungs, thats why sometimes i feel i also have mycroplasma which effects the lungs.Take CareDamariseTo: Lyme_and_Rife From: lisa@...Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2012 09:31:47 +1000Subject: RE: Bactrim for lyme? Yes,My doc pulses Bacterim for his Lyme patients. Although not on ‘the Lyme protocol’ he discovered most of his Lyme patients reacted to it, so feels it is necessary. I knew it gave me die off as it had previously (before diagnose with Lyme) sent me to hospital emergency with all over body hives and feeling like I would pass out. He started me on very small doses and built it up and I no longer react to Bacterim...in fact, when on it I felt great so have pulsed it twice instead of once. Testing for co infections in Australian and for lyme is woefully inadequate and expensive, so I am happy to treat with anything I react to, knowing it is killing something and I’m getting better ( based on my docs experience with Lyme patients and research) Cheers From: Lyme_and_Rife [mailto:Lyme_and_Rife ] On Behalf Of C MellmanSent: Friday, 17 August 2012 8:20 AMTo: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Bactrim for lyme? Hey all, Has anyone used Bactrim/Septra for Lyme. I had to go on it because I got a carrot sliver jammed under my thumb nail. Yes, a carrot sliver. I didn't bleed or anything but within 24 hours my thumb was killing me. Needless to say the docs fear MRSA so I was put on the abx. The first day and a half I had a raging headache but now I seem fine. I have 5 days to go so we'll see. Anyway, I have noticed that a lot of my lyme symptoms are gone (FOR NOW ). I am enjoying the reprieve. I do know that once I stop I will have a relapse. I was wondering if someone has used this and for what bug specifically. I have read it is for Babesia. I do not really know what co's I have but have been assuming Borrelia and Bart. Maybe I have Babs too. Thanks, PS. Headache is actually a common side effect of Bactrim not necessarily a herx.
