Guest guest
Jim- In response to this thread you posted a website that discusses natural cures for Candida. This is the website you posted http://www.health-science-spirit.com/candida.html As I read through it, I came across a lot of useful information, including info on treating Candida. This website posted another link to receive more info about MMS for Candida.http://www.health-science-spirit.com/ultimatecleanse.html When I followed that link, authored by the same individual...Walter Last...whoever he is... I came across some information that puzzled me."MMS – Sodium Chlorite Sodium chlorite (NaClO2) also known as Miracle Mineral Supplement or MMS, is very alkaline and stable in solution but when acidified it forms the unstable chlorous acid and the gas chlorine dioxide (ClO2) which are strong all-round antimicrobial and parasite remedies. MMS is recommended for an initial clean-out, and is most effective in high doses with acute and serious infections, but is not well suited for long-term treatment of Candida and mycoplasmas, except for local applications and when used in non-acidified form"I don't know who this Walter Last is or what his credentials are to write about Candida Cures, so I am already questioning the validity of what he says. All I can tell from his website is that he has written a book, but it doesn't tell us anymore about his degrees...if he has any. At any rate, I am still researching MMS and found it confusing that he states that MMS is effective for acute and serious infections, but not suited for long term treatment of candida. I thought that MMS kills pathogens. Isn't that statement contradictory??? Why wouldn't it work for long term. He makes a lot of statements that aren't really backed up with anything.I can't remember if you have ever said that MMS kills Candida, but if it is a pathogen killer wouldn't it kill candida no matter what stage it is in?I know that you have said that it does not kill the healthy bacteria in one's colon, but candida is part of our normal flora and is beneficial to us at the right amount as it is kept in check by the other healthy bacteria. So my question to you is, Does MMS kill Candida??? Also, I thought that MMS had to be activated (with citric acid) to be effective at killing...he says it is "for local applications and when used in the non-acidified form". That is also contradictory when taking into consideration the limited info that I understand about MMS.Maybe this guy doesn't know what he is talking about. But I am interested in other Candida killing protocols as well as starting to use MMS and I need to understand it well before I decide to use it. I am sure there is a better website...and more reliable too...that I can go to and read up on how it works.I am extremely sensitive to citric acid as well as lemon juice so I don't know if I will even be able to tolerate, but I do believe I have some cysts to bust, so I've got to try.Thank you for your time...In other news, my Doug Coil Machine came today. Looking forward to setting it up tomorrow. Thanks, Cherie
