Guest guest
I am not aware of testosterone playing a role in girl's early puberty, as much as I am of the ubiquitousness of the ecological estrogens in plastics, foods, medicines, and probably the air we breathe that gives many women higher estrogen levels than are good for them. Dr. JM From: JAQUELYN MCCANDLESS <JMcCandless@ prodigy.net> Subject: [csb-autism- rx] Early puberty To: " csb-autism- rx@ yahoogroups. com " <csb-autism- rx@ yahoogroups. com> Date: Monday, December 8, 2008, 1:30 PM just sent an article stating that studies show girls who start their periods before 11 have 3X the chance of breast cancer, and those that start before 12 have twice the chance. Our ASD girls because of their general difficulty detoxifying tend to have periods earlier. I have put this out before, but want to suggest again that mothers (or caretakers) of ASD girls start them at age 7 or 8 on CA-D-Glucarate (200mg 2X/day for little girls, 500mg 2X/day for older girls) to detoxify ecological estrogens. I get this at vrp, life extension, and Thorne - I'm sure there are others. This is a benign nutrient available at many nutrient firms, and shown by tests to offset extrogen levels from environmental toxins. Besides the dangers of breast cancer, what little 8 year old is ready for puberty and all that entails? Dr. JM
