Guest guest
I do nto agree with him. Obviouly your body is not precessing T4 in a proper fashion. but rather than loking for a better dose of T4 i would be looking for the cause of your body not reacting to it properly. Have you had cortisol testing done? How about Ferritin? Thyroid antibodies? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thanks very much, , I have been waiting here for replies. My ferritin is 42 (the original was 34) after 2 months of 14 mg of iron supplement. I have increased the dose to 27 mg. The antibodies I haven't rechecked, but the last time I checked them, they are at the high level, as TPO AB is 1000. I only had my blood Cortisol tested a few months ago. 8AM, blood Cortisol 607.82 ( 118.6-618) 4PM, Cortisol 115.03 (85.3-459.6) 00PM, Cortisol 104.27 (no reference values!) Guest guest
actually I did test for hormones after 2 and a half weeks off. FT3 3.98 (3.67-10.43) FT4 8.14 (7.5-21.1) TSH 1.46 (0.34-5.66) After this test, I restarted 62.5 mcg of T4 immediately cuz the Frees were both low. The TSH got higher when I took the new dose of 62.5 according to the two reports. I think I restarted it too late. I should restart it perhaps 5 days sooner. And according to the other two reports, do you think that my readings for FT3 reacted more quickly than FT4? And FT4 and TSH are two bothers, one is higher, the other is lower. The lower FT4 is, the higher TSH. So I really doubt the bioavailability of my brand of T4. Do my reports mean this brand of T4 is not so bioavailable. It is more difficult to build up the T4 hormone levels than my own conversion to T3! I am thinking of changing brands! Guest guest
, You are very true, cuz I don't feel well these days. I wake up frequently at nights. But you know I did not have other choices, cuz I think I was very hyper at that time! when I was off the medicine , I can go to sleep easily!
