Guest guest
It sounds very much like the drug that was just added to my regimen: Precose, or Arcabose. Guest guest
Elva asked about GlucoNorm. It is replaglinide ... a short-acting sulfonylurea, I guess you could call it. It still beats the heck out of your pancreas, but it gives up in the third round, if you catch my drift. I would not recommend this drug for any of us. Here is a web site: http://www.virtualdrugstore.com/diabetes/repaglinide.html This type of drugs I call " borrow from to pay , " or " Don't worry - be happy, " because they burn out our pancreas in order to fake us into thinking we have " good diabetes control " today, but they short-change our future by overdriving our pancreas. I'm especially sensitive about this issue because I'm watching the consequences in my own wonderful sister, who trusted her doctors to care for her all these years.
