Guest guest Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 Hi Val, Could you please give me your opinion re: the following lab tests, which were taken on 11/6/08: Aldosterone Serum 21 (range: upright 8:00am-10:00am < or = 28 ng/dL (range: upright 4:00-6:00pm < or = 21 ng/dL The blood test was in the morning but I forgot if it was 10:30am or earlier. Also, I forgot that it was to be taken during week of period. i believe the testing was done on day 20 of cycle. Renin: 160 (range: 20-160) NA 138 (range: 135-145 MEQ/L) Potassium: 3.9 (range: 3.6-5.1 MEQ/L) I asked about the high level of the renin but the office said it was " fine. " A1C: 6.0 (range: 4.2-6.0 %) Manual Glucose: 94.0 (range: 70.0-105.0) RT3: <3 (range:11-32ng/dL) FT4: 0.3 (range: 0.8-1.9ng/dL) TSH: 3.530 I had the TSH taken again a week later and result was: 8.18 She would not do FT3 I was taking only 40 mcg. of Ti-Tre at the time. Just to remind you: I went on only T3 due to high level of RT3. My FT3 and Ft4 levels were very low normal levels. I think the TSH test at that time(6 months ago) was below 2.
