Guest guest
Just a quick update. My husband's surgery was last Thursday. We brought him home of Sunday, and his is doing very well. My concerns about not being able to keep up the housework, etc. were for naught. He is up and around often during the day and is able to help with things. We saw his doc today, and the staples came out. The pathology has mixed reviews. Lymph nodes, seminal vesicle, vas deferans, clear. Yay! There was more cancer than we had thought from the biopsy. A tumor in the bottom right quadrant had broken through the wall of the prostate. The doc is hopeful that he got it all, but we'll see with his psa in a couple of months. We cross our fingers. Otherwise, he feels well, the catheter isn't bothering him too much, he has no pain, just soreness, so for that we give thanks. We are enjoying our time together. Our son went home to Orlando yesterday morning, so we spend our days quietly. He seems to improve in strength each day. If it is a little warmer tomorrow, I hope we can walk out to the end of the cul de sac. Sincerely,
