Guest guest
Hi Val/all: I am hoping I am wrong, but after a pretty physically strenuous Christmas eve, I am feeling just drained - weak legs, arms, need to sit down alot, palps.. (I don't have hardly any stamina, strength anyway!) I am taking 8 pellets of Isocort and scheduled to start SRT3 on Jan. 5. My alternative doc does not believe in Ferritin and is super cautious about Cortef so today I bought some Hydrocortisone cream and decided to use it in place on Isocort (assuming I'm at @20 mg. dosage). This same thing happened to me last year when I tried Armour w/o knowing about treating Adrenals first. Took me several months to recover. I would appreciate any feedback about what a " crash " feels like..last year I blamed it on my Lyme but am more certain now that it was because my adrenals were shot (saliva testing in August showed barely discernable levels at all four times). I've yet to feel any difference in Isocort dosing (like if I miss one, I can't really tell). Is this the time I should " stress dose " and as important, can I do anything else to feel better????? Vit. C, more sea salt?, more HC? Thanks for your thoughts on this..I learn so much each day from all of you... Sharon PS-am taking @100 mg. of elemental iron daily on my own to raise a ferritin of 47.
