I just got a call from my brother and they cannot do the surgery because they found a mass on my dad's lung. I don't know what this means but I am terrified. Please pray that it is nothing serious. But, my Pa (his dad) died from lung cancer.

Major Prayers Needed

My father is scheduled for major spinal surgery in 1 hr. He is having at least 2 vertebras taken out maybe 3 or more depending on the damage. They were going to replace it with his own bone but have decided that it would be too risky under his condition so they are using donor bone. The doctor has already told my parents that he is worried about my dad and that he is going to moving the spinal cord around quite a bit. He has done spinal work on my dad in the past about a yr ago. But at that time he only had to have fractions of vertebras taken out not the whole thing. This is a very serious and delicate surgery these are coming out of his neck. Please keep him in your prayers today. I am unable to be there since I am have moved 1000 miles away. But, I know he is in one of the best doctor's hands there in the Dallas area. Even other neuro doctors have told him to go back to this one because he is so good. Thank you for your prayers.
