Guest guest
Sally, Welcome to the group. I am Jagan from India, male- 63. PLS for 11 years. I joined this group last year. Find it very supportive. Keeps one busy. There is lot of empathy between PLSers. A single word is enough, we understand each other so very well. Coming to your points. PLS turning into ALS. Don't worry. Nobody can be positive on this. I haven't seen anyone who developed ALS from PLS. Enjoy life. (It appears to me ~~ they call that PLS which is not ALS!) On antibiotics. Believe me, I haven't been to a doctor from my 30th year to 52nd year. I didn't even catch a cold all these years. I don't recall my taking any antibiotics, yet I developed PLS. This is what I have to say. There are many friends in this group with varied experience, sure they will respond. Welcome once again.
