Guest guest
My son is 5 and has just been diagnosed with a ACM & SM. We had gone in for an MRI to rule out congenital scoliosis as he has a 29 degree thoracic curve with a compensetory lumbar curve. The last thing I wanted to hear is that he needed brain surgery. I know it is something that is needed and will benefit him but it still scares me. His scoliosis has a possibility of actually improving with the surgery and that is a comfort. But the thing is that I have begun to look at this rather large symptom list and wonder if this is not a problem that I might have. I have a diagnosis of adhd as I have memory, impulse control difficulties and organizational impairments to include my limbs (i.e.I often am taken as a flake or basket case and undeniably clumsy). Along with the symptoms with the adhd I have chronic headaches, tinitis and frequent neck pain. But how do you go into a md office and say my kids got it maybe I do too. thanks Gwyn Potter
