Doubt your jogging/running is having any adverse effects. Yes it's possible to

overtrain,

but what you describe sounds good, and I would expect you to suffer

musculoskeletal

trauma well before before you endanger your endocrine status, and the aerobic

exercise

should keep your endorphins high, benefitting your mental, physical, and sexual

well-

being. Total T levels of 500 are fine, but you might ask for a " free

testosterone " level, and

an estrogen ( " E-2 " ) level at some time. Also keep using your gear and

anticipate continual

improvement over at least another couple years.

Mick --

If you had surgery for PCa, I'd blame the surgery, not " normal aging " .

Don't be so hard on yourself, and don't be hard on your surgeon -- he

did a good job.

I know what " normal aging " feels like -- at 62, I wasn't the same man

I was at 52.

But I was a damned sight " more man " a week before surgery, than I am

10 weeks after surgery!

I'm improving, and hope to keep improving. If I can eventually reach

my " pre-surgery " sexual level _by using Viagra_, I'll be happy. From

what I hear in my local support group, that would be a good outcome.

As long as you're improving, you should assume that you're overcoming

surgical after-effects. When you _stop_ improving, that's when

" normal aging " will take over.

I trained for a marathon, in my late 30's. As I remember, I was too

tired for sex a lot of the time. But you may be in better shape than

I was -- I ran a 4:54, finishing just before they rolled up the

course. I haven't run one since.

I didn't mean to sound like I was being disrespectful of my Uro. I

like the guy. He is 60 and can appreciate that I appreciate a good

sex life. He really wants things to come back for me.

Best, Mick -- Abilene, TX

PS: He has a cute 40 something wife that is an RN and on occasion

does office procedure asists with him. This is something that makes

the OC a little less humdrum and gives new meaning to the typical

nurse/patient fantasy. (grin)

Testosterone Free: was 1.13 ng/dL (range .80-3.50 ng/dL) last

August, I will look into an E-2. I use my gear a couple times a day

in a shared manner, solo or both. Thanks, Mick
