I tried the water aerobics too and didn't get much out of it either. Normally, I don't like to sweat a lot, but a good workout that makes me all hot and sweaty makes me feel like I actually did something good. I think part of it is psycological! in Tucson
Guest guest
The joy of water aerobics is that you don't get all sweaty!! The water cools you off so that you don't get overheated. Make sure that you aren't just bouncing around and are using the water for resistance. When doing things with your arms, slicing your palm sideways is easiest, a fist is more resistance, and using your hand broad side gives the most resistance. I love water aerobics and have always found that I could tell the next day when I worked hard - aching muscles galore! Kirstie
Guest guest
Hey everyone, Hoping everyone is having a good day. I am feeling much better than last week. i have really gotten into this health eating and it is scaring me because usually after this feeling comes the breaking point where i give up. I don't want to get to that point. I am actually going today to check out a gym which is about 10 min. from where i work. I am going to see if i can afford to go there and if the price is not ridiculous i am seriously considering it. since i walked to WW tuesday night it felt pretty good and i am thinking that I can do this. i plan to go 3-5 times a week and they have someone there who can prepare a program for me which is good so i will keep you guys posted on the outcome of this. Anyhow, i lost 4.8 lbs in the past 2 weeks which is great i just hope i can keep it up. i am trying to drink my 8-10 glasses of water a day but for most days i drink 8. I also had a peanut butter craving last night and decided to have it this morning for breakfast. that was a first for me but i had it on 2 slices of diet bread and so far it has filled me up and satiated my craving. I go through stages where I don';t 'see' results accept for the scale readings....But as long as I see something happening I'm ok :-) Ang > Hey everyone, > > Hoping everyone is having a good day.
