The Apr 29, 2008 show features special guest Freedman, M.D., a

prostate cancer specialist.

Dr. Freedman received his medical degree from the University of

Toronto. He completed a residency in Urology at University Dalhousie

(Halifax, Nova Scotia). In addition to his clinical experience, he

has held various teaching appointments. He has presented and published

his work in professional journals. He holds membership in numerous

regional and national societies, including the American Urological

Association and Canadian Urological Association. From public

education to coaching hockey and soccer to third-world missions to

Thailand and Kenya, Dr. Freedman's compassion is embodied in his

volunteerism. Third-world medicine continues to be one of his

interests.

Dr. Freedman practices advanced urology is in Sonora, California. He

offers complete care for men diagnosed with prostate cancer, including

hormone and drug therapies. He offers both cryotherapy (localized

freezing) and brachytherapy (radioactive " seed implant " ). His office
