TO LINDA GENTNER: Your last report was so interesting about repeating the EMG

and the weak ankle muscles. I would be interested in seeing the ankle

exercises. I wear an ankle brace(elastic) sometimes when my left foot starts

to drag and ache. It helps! Thanks, !

TO BARRY HOLMES: Thanks for your letter about Dr. Prahl. I'm glad you're

doing well on his " formula " . I've been taking it for 6 years and feel like I

am stabilized. As for your children, perhaps they, like mine, will grow to be

more caring and sensitive adults because of your condition(mine have!).And,

after all, which is more important?? My children, now 16 and 20, don't

remember me playing tennis and running, but I have to think that all the

playing I did with them early on is remembered, however deep. And, we have

videos and cassettes of those years!! (I've had PLS for 13 years). Take care.
