Guest guest
I was seen at University Medical Center 2 years ago for numbness, horrible pains in my hands, numbness in hands, really burning, sent to neurologist who ordered MRI which revealed arthritis, neck straight where it should be curved. He sent me to a neurosurgeon, who told me I did not have surgery. Crying, my friend suggested I go to a rheumatologist, I did and was diagnosed with chronic fatigue, cervical spondilosis and fibromyalgia. Have done pretty good for about a year-no numbness but now it's back, my head hurts all of the time, losing coordination in arms and hands, dizzy and wobbly. I am wondering if someone has gone through all of the above, gotten on meds-flexerill, naprosyn and xanax for sleeping. It is wierd to me it's coming back and I don't even feel like going to the doctor and starting all of this over again. Watching Dateline the other night half asleep, my eyes popped open on the story about chiari-my vision in my left eye doubled in worseness in less than one year. Does this sound familiar? I work at a wonderful institution but am discouraged by the quality of care I have received in the past by the lack of interest from the neurologist. My rheumatologist is wonderful. Any suggestions?
