Sherri, What wonderful news for you and Robby. Keep us posted on the procedure. I will say a prayer for you and Robby. When I think of Petya, who also has other issues, and had some pretty scarey surgeries, I have to think God has something special in mind for her or me. I know I have felt compelled to get more involved with hearing issues at church. I have been asked to speak on hearing loss several times. I never would have dreamed that I would be involved in speaking publicly. But there it is. God gives us the resources to do his will. A funny thing is that I am helping the music director with the songs for vacation bible school. She wanted to use a lot of signs instead of just actions with the songs. So I enlisted the aid of a deaf woman in our church and we came up with signs and motions for 13 songs. Now I am going to help the music director teach the kids. The funny part is that the music director said I was the best helper she had ever had. I looked at her stunned. I am not a musical person. She said, " Well, it's true you can't carry a tune in a bushel basket, and you can't clap to the rhythm unless you are watching someone else clap but your enthusiasm is contagious. " Believe me I never would have attempted this if I hadn't felt God wanted me to. Barb
