Toxic Discovery is collecting valuable information concerning Dow's Explant Assistance Program and how women were treated that applied for the Program. Toxic Discovery is requesting that ALL individual's that applied for the Program share their experiences concerning the Program with Judge Hood and Austern the Claims Administor of the Dow Corning Trust. Your letter should cover any and all problems that you experienced concerning the Program. Many women reported the following problems to Toxic Discovery which were concerning: 1. Difficulty with locating a Plastic Surgeon that would honor the Program. 2. No list of Plastic Surgeons that the Claim's Office could provide or would provide. 3. The inability to locate a Plastic Surgeon in your area. 4. The lack of funds to cover amounts over the $5,000 that is being offered by the Program. 5. Indignant treatment when doctors learned individuals were part of the Class Action. We would also like you to make Judge Hood and Mr. Austern aware of the following: 1. How you personally were treated by Plastic Surgeons when they were aware that you were part of the Class Action. 2. Did you feel humiliated in having to ask a doctor to honor the plan? What was their reactions? Because of how you were treated did you not follow up with the surgery? 3. Did your doctor agree to fill out the paper work? If not, what happened? 4. How much did it cost to remove your implants? Did you have to borrow money or get a loan to have them removed? 5. Was it difficult to obtain your medical records from your Explanting Plastic Surgeons? Did you have to pay for the records and if so, how much? 6. Were you happy with the results from your surgery? If not, why? 7. Were you aware that your implants were Ruptured before the surgery and still could not locate someone to remove them?
