I don't think we have that out here in Massachusetts. Maybe I am miunderstanding the term do you mean Cued speech in a camp format? I would love to hear about it.Lori >> Hi Lori, Yes, Cue camp is a family weekend to learn more about Cued Speech. The one we attend is in the mountains of NC at a YMCA camp. They also have them in several other states around here. I think the most popular ones on this side of the US are in MD and VA. It is absolutely wonderful.....you get to meet other parents that use Cued Speech, make new friends, exchange advice, and they have speakers about issues concerning deafness. We have been for 4 years and the kids love it! My hearing child wants it marked on the calendar as soon as we get the next year up! It is really neat to see how much the kids have grown through the years. Now on a humorous note.......My six year old hearing child, Josh has been to camp for 4 years and he knows we go because Jake is deaf. This year we were standing around chatting with other families and Josh has a revelation........... " Mom, they sure do have a lot of deaf people here! " We all got a kick out of that one!!!!!!!
