For goodness' sake, people!

I cannpt begin to tell you (well, some of you--you don't really know

who you are) how absolutely annoying it is to have to scroll through

repeat after repeat after repeat of all the previous dialogue in a

given thread when someone posts a response and keeps ALL the

detritus from all the previous responses intact.

Including this nonsense:

People, we are all intelligent and computer literate here. Please,

for the love of text and time, cull out all the unecessary textual

burden from below your posts! Sure, leave a sentence or two so we

can connect things up with the thread being refered to, but (if I

may speak for the group) NO ONE NEEDS TO READ THE SAME THREAD 27

FRIKKIN' TIMES just to read the newest three-line response.

There, I said it. I apologize for yelling.

BTW, my surgery was postponed from Thursday (1/12) to Saturday

(1/14), since my doctor had to be out of town at some meeting or

other. And, no, he's NOT coming back on a red-eye Friday night!
