Coffee Mate is a No No, try buying heavy whipping cream and get some DaVinci

sugar free syrups they have all kinds of flavors. I always used Coffee Mate

before but it's not Atkins Friendly.

The other thing is do not use Lite Mayonaisse. I forget why not but don't use

low cal stuff it doesn't go along with our plan. So far that is all I can see

so far Lorrie.

Hope this Helps

Some Wal Marts sell them but I get mine at the cafe inside and Noble. You can also find them online if you dont have those stores in your area.

Lorrie,

They are at my Safeway store and they are becoming more an more popular every

where. You can find them near the place where you grind up those gourmet

coffees.

Before I got them at the store I got them online at <A

What is the carb count on the coffee mate ? And doesn't it have sugar

in it? I am almost positive it has sugar which is a huge no no.

Hello all. First, thank you for allowing me tojoin the group. My

husband's granfather has prostate cancer and I'm so confused about

what is going on! My Uncle had prostate cancer two years ago and they

put in some kind of implant, he went for several months for them to

somehow " activate " it, took a bunch of medications, and is now fine.

With Grandpa, the implant they put in is in his right arm. Appaently,

whoever makes it has STOPPED making it, so he goes once a month for

an IV that does the same thing that the implant was doing. My MIL

said that he is in the " final stages " of cancer and when I asked her

what she meant by that, she said hs has " stage IV " prostate cancer. I

tried to look it up onine, but it doesn't seem to be coinsiding with

what she says AT ALL. She is a horrible woman, a pathological liar,

so I don't even know what to believe. She says the cancer is in his

bones now, and although there is no " timeline " that he is not going

to last much longer. Can anyone point me in the right direction to

figure out what is really happening? Her sister contradicts

everything she says and my husband and I live hundreds of miles from

them.

Sorry for the long post, and please excuse any spelling errors -

dyslexia makes me hit the wrong keys!

Thanks,

Goog

I am sorry to see the news.

I suggest most urgently that Goog's husband be tested periodically for

symptoms of prostate cancer (PCa). A familial history increases his risk.

The " implant " is probably a medication to block production of

testosterone (T), which nourishes PCa cells. It is not curative, I'm

sorry to say.

" Stage IV " is a characterization that is used less and less. Judging

from the description, it sounds to me like the equally old-fashioned

Whitmore-Jewett Stage D, which means metastatic. That sounds like what

MIL describes.

I regret that, without details which may not be forthcoming, there is no

way to know.

I wish I could be more helpful.
