Days Off!!

Hi Everyone! I'm in Red Deer, an hour away from my little cabin - it's

my second home. I lived with my son Mike for 2 years before moving

out west. It's a beautiful, sunny day and I'm off with a GOOD

attitude, have to have an attitude adjustment every morning these

days -- I stand in front of the mirror and say, " Well, Sunny, is it

going to be " good God, it's morning! " or " Good Morning, God! " lol

I'm going to the Collicutt Centre (a big rec centre here in R.D.) to

watch my grandchildren swim, go in the wave pool, and waterslide.

Even Emma (3) whips down a gigantic slide with Daddy! I'll also drop

in at the Women's Outreach Centre to talk to their walk-in counsellor

about my surgery up and coming. They are so loving there. It's a

safe environment to drop in to anytime during the day and have a tea r

coffee, read or visit with other women.

I'm also having coffee with a very supportive friend...she just bought

me a Sunny Angel - she's holding a bouquet of sunflowers and her skirt

is made of yellow petals. We keep exchanging gifts back and forth.

She has an elephant collection and I always find different little

elephants to add to it.

I've had a hard time in the past trusting women and getting close to

them. I have healing majorly, but there's still a few times it crops

up. You girls have certainly help me with that issue!!

I wish you all a wonderful day and lots of healing prayers are flying

to you right now, on angel's wings!
