I did the medwatch report and sent it to them. Do they really care or do anything with this? I just wondered because when I got sick I called them and told them I had been sick since getting breast implants. They were clueless, at least they acted really clueless. Three Months later a doctor from the fda called me, yes he calls me and basically blamed my implanting surgeon and was sticking up for the manufacturers, I do have this tape recorded since they all claim I am crazy, I started taping all conversations with doctors, PS, FDA and the manufacturers. Well anyway the FDA doctor calls me and his final question was, Donna what is really bothering you right now. I replied, that the FDA has let woman down and lied to me when I called you regarding my sickness. I ask why didn't you tell me that stuff could be floating around in my saline implants. I said, I know you are aware of these things happening many women have filed your medwatch report and I am one of them. But not until they got my paperwork from Dr. Kolb and Dr. Blais did they care. It was hush hush and secret. The Manufacturer finally admitted this to me after I found the support sites and confronted the same girl I had talked to for months, she admitted I have heard of this ONE time. She didn't tell me when I begged for help. This makes me sick and furious. I had one final question for her, I ask her Do you have breast implants? She said, NO, I said, I know why you work there and you know the truth. She was speachless and didn't deny it. I think it may of gotten to her when I ask, Why didn't you tell me 4 months ago, I am so sick and I have two kids that need me. She told me she would send me a letter of my concerns and worries and She sent me a letter demanding my implants back????????? They were in my chest? I was so sick!!!!!!!! They know it is happening and they stick together like glue and leave women clueless and sick. I guess they figure we will just die and leave them alone. They are not killing me I refused to believe them and finally did some searches on the net. However, there is lots of woman who may not have access to a computer, not know how to work one or just to sick to do anything. It is sad how they get the medwatch reports and don't stop this insanity. If one woman reports they should have to warn all woman before they sign a bogus consent 10 minutes before implant surgery. Oh Donna, Donna, Do I understand! I'm so glad you're recording al these conversations. One of these days there will be another hearing - whether before a Congressional panel, or the FDA. . . Be ready to testify with your tapes in hand!! Undoubtedly there are forces at work . . . IMHO, it's called Money! Hopefully the new administration will take a serious look at this! Hopefully there will be criminal investigations. At least the FDA did contact you. That's more than they used to do! You make only the second woman who has heard back after filing a MedWatch report that I've heard of! I do think they are hoping the women will die off . . .horrible thought . . .but what else could they be thinking? One of our women

Dearest Donna:

I am so sorry that these people are not willing to listen to our cries for help. We hope that one day soon they will have to listen because there are so many sick women. I agree that many women do not have access to a computer, and they think that their symptoms are from something other than their breast implants. We know many women like that.

We are planning on doing something in the New Year that might force them to listen. I, too, am very angry because they do know the truth; however, this is all about money. Honey, just think of what would happen if Health Canada and the FDA admitted that all breast implants were unsafe. There would be such a panic that the medical systems in both countries would collapse.

Please stay close to this group, and remember that there is power in numbers. We outnumber them by the millions.

I just wondered why the call after the doctor's did a medwatch report???? I wondered where the heck were they when I was calling them for answers regarding my implants. Where is there hearts when a mother of two calls them and can't get out of bed, sick as hell, why they didn't tell me the truth????????? I will never know the answer other than they are wanting people not to know the truth and just die and shhhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone. This makes me so sick and when they called me three months after Dr. Kolb removed mine that made me even sicker. I was not laying down and kissing there feet trust me. I may have brain damage from my implants, however I am totally aware of the damage, but I will not tolerate someone to play me for stupid. They know the truth they just don't want to advertise it, women would second guess implants and they lose there beemers.

Thanks so much!!!!!!!!! I realized know that it was all just common sense, woman are being lied too. It is so scary the power these people have, that we don't have. I don't know what to do to change things. Common sense says, if we put anything silicone in our bodies, it is not good for us. The FDA are the people we are suppose to trust? I often see where there is a drug that is FDA approved, causing serious health problems and taken off the market. I watch more closely to the commercial and the side effect they say this or that drug can cause. It is amazing how they can even say any drug is safe for our bodies. I refuse to have faith in our FDA, I was burnt once you won't burn me again type thing. I take there approvals with a grain of salt, don't trust them, I never will at this point, common sense.
