Guest guest
--- , I certainly can relate with your aches and pains. My surgery is July 26 and countdown has been difficult. I will pray for you, , and send you lots of virtual hugs!! Something I've added to my pain relief regime is Coral Calcium ( with 72 minerals ) from Japan. It has relieved my pain symptoms by 30%, and has made enough of a difference that I could cut my little lawn area with a week eater. Yesterday I felt it though, afterwards, but a few months ago I wouldn't have been able to do it at all! It also helps me sleep without leg muscles twitching and aching, and fall back asleep easier when I wake up to pee 3 or 4 times. My bladder has been damaged and weak for years..I had surgery for an obstruction since birth, on my 30th birthday, but up until then I had infections constantly. You are on my healing prayer list, ...hang in there! Love & Butterfly Kisses (on the cheek with eyelashes!) Guest guest
, I'm so sorry you're having such a bad time of it . . . I can understand your desire to get it over with sooner too . . . But, before you do anything, check with Dr. Kolb. She may be able to get you sooner, or she may be completely booked. In the meantime, drink plenty water, eat raw, crushed, fresh garlic, eat well and take very good care of yourself. Hugs and prayers, RogeneGMCLADY98@... wrote: Man today I have felt really bad...bad headaches, stiff neck, fatique, out of it and my toes and fingers and knees ache.....I can't wait to get these things out, I only wondor if I'll be able to make it till (9/7/06) I'm going to be in Fl the first week of Aug and I already have plane tickets...wondor if there is a way I could drive from Fl to Ga to see Dr Kolb and have my plane tickets changed from Fl to Va to from Ga to Va ? Guest guest
, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Have you considered going in July at all? I think her schedule was open and flexible for the month of July (at least 2 weeks ago it was). I know you were opening to wait until after Florida but it just sounds like you feel really horrible. Do you take anything for the pain and headaches?! Thinking of you. Guest guest
, Absolutely, that's how this illness seems to go, feeling good one day, feeling bad the next. My fingers and toes are still bothering me, but it's just going to take time - I had a very weak immune system before I got implants, and getting implants totally pushed me over the edge. I remember when I had about a month before explant, I worried that I wasn't going to make it because I felt so bad, but I managed to make it. So will you, so just hang in there. Guest guest
, I finally moved my date up by a month. I was beginning to wonder if I would make it too so my husband encouraged me to move it up. He just told them at work and off we went. You might have to change your plans but it will be worth it. Any tickets changes you need to make you'll have to call the airline. You can't make changes online once you have purchased a ticket. Depending on the airline they will charge anywhere from $25-$50 to change a ticket. I'm not a pushy person but I would encourage you to move your surgery date up. You won't be sorry. Guest guest
So sorry you are going thru this... I think we have all been there at one time or another but it is hard to come up with a way to help.... are you on any meds now? I have found in my 3 years since explant that certain ones help - certain make it worse and others you just have to watch the dosing.... you also may want to try to make it to an acupuncturist.... a natural doc or holistic doc if you can find one... I found that the acupuncture alone w/ the infared sauna helped me loads w/ pain issues.... just a suggestion.... good luck and hope you are feeling better!!!! where in FL are you heading? thanks shari

Guest guest
, Even if you don't feel better right away, don't be discouraged. The mental relief that came from getting them removed was enormous for me - and yes I am still trying to get better and it might take me years, but I think I'm a special case because I'm sensitive to all the supplements so I had to take it slow, so my detoxing isn't going to happen as quickly as others might. Plus my immune system was already compromised, so the implants were a major blow to my system. I'd like to get an infrared sauna, but since I was out of work for over a year that will have to wait. None of the spas in my area have infrared saunas. Take care, Sis > > Thanks you Sis your mind works on you doesn't it ? Guest guest
, I know and understand. But I was just getting so much sicker and more numb so I wanted to be able to make the airplane flight. I just didn't want you to think that things aren't changeable. I know that my thinking and brain fog often gets in my way of thinking properly. By the way just wanted to remind you that I am TODAY 2 months post op. I'm feeling better. It's slow but I can see progress. I get tired easily but I can tell that deep down inside I am getting stronger everyday. My hair is falling out much less and you should see my fingernails. They are so strong they look like they are fake!!! So I'm on the healing road and you will be soon. Guest guest
--- , I can certainly relate to the anxiety. I usually am very calm about surgeries, but this one is definitely giving me a run for my money. I guess it's just having the faith that my health will return. I am having to turn it all over to God - AGAIN! I keep taking it back! Good wishes & great, big hugs coming your way, Sunny In , GMCLADY98@... wrote: > > Thanks Penni...I just have all the reservations made, time off work, surgery > date with Dr Kolb, hotel etc..... Guest guest
, Start slow with garlic . . . It's a natural anti-biotic, anti-fungal and anti-oxident . . . A very healthy food! . . . If you have a lot of bad organisms in your gut, you may feel a battle between good and evil going on, but that's not going to have any lasting negative effects. There's a new drug . . . Aciphex that's outstanding for acid reflux. . . . $$$$$$$ though. Maybe your doc will give you a sample. They claim that it will heal an ulcer in four weeks. true? I don't know . . . but the doc gave me a sample so I could take the stuff necessary for a colon exam . . . It works great! Rogene GMCLADY98@... wrote: Thanks Rogene what does garlic do ? Guest guest
, I found since I started eating organic yogurt every afternoon, I do not need Zantac anymore. Try probiotics or yogurt every day and you may find your digestive troubles have disappeared. Guest guest
---Lynda, that works for me as well, I'm lactose inolerant, but can eat yogurt. Also I use apple cider vinegar for acid stomach - 1 tsp. in 1/2 cup of water, it works because when the stomach is producing too much acid, the vinegar satisfies it's need and it stops overproducing. A very effective, inexpensive way to mangage that problem! Guest guest
I can't do vinegar, apple juice either. Gives me instant heartburn. But yogurt is great for me. Guest guest
, I was that way and Dr. Kolb said the bad days are the days when the implant is leaking. She was correct cause when I got them out they were leaking. It is scary and I know I felt like you. I wondered if I was going to live to get explant. Hang in there time flies and will be here before you know it. I would call Dr. Kolb and try to get in ASAP if it was me. She will fit you in as an emergency, I know she did me. I was so sick I could not wait another minute to get them out and so glad I did. Our bodies are not able to handle all the bacteria flushing in and out of these implants. It is scary for sure. Hang in there . Donna
