Kay,

Question: If a school in Texas, was to hire a teacher for the deaf-ed

classroom in the public schools, what are the requirements? Do they have to

be a certified TOD, or must they pass some certification in order to instruct

in that classroom?

I truly have no idea. (No pun intended).

I wish I had time to research this for you, but I'm just getting ready to go

offline to have some much needed upgrade work done on the computer. If all

goes well, I'll be back in a couple of days. I still have to back up the

files, and Dave's ready for me to shut down and start moving components into

the new system.

To sort of answer your question though, you may be able to find it on this

page:

Texas Education Agency - School Law and Rules

See you all soon!
