Guest guest Posted November 21, 2000 Report Share Posted November 21, 2000 Tonight, I made the Fantasy fudge recipe on the marshmallow cream jar using Splenda instead of sugar. I love that fudge, and know my family looks forward to it at this time of year. I saw no way of having that fudge in the house,and me not into it.Making the fudge ,I notice that it did cook up different,so I wasn't sure about it. When the fudge was still warm, I notice that it was different, it was grainy ,and it didn't look like it was going to sit. I was really disappointed, and yes at 45 called my mother .She told me to go ahead and pour it out,and sit it in the refrigerator. I didn't put in any nuts,as I saw this fudge as a lost cause.But a few hours later I was surprise to see that it had sit up.I tried it,and its good but does need nuts.There is a little difference in the feel of it in your mouth, but no after taste, and is very good. My family has been eating it, so far they have only notice nutless factor.I know its still not something I could eat an endless amount of, but now I can enjoy it a little more other, and with a lot less guilty.
