Yes, it's pain great enough that you're thinking something must really be wrong, though I've been through enough to become a little more savvy about knowing when to go to the ER -so I don't. I just keep telling myself it's not really a heart attack and that it will pass.

Same burning in breasts here, too, but I've had that from day 1 I think.

Anyone with SALINES have the lung issues? I've heard of it with Silicone before. I mean, I know the Saline shells ARE silicone -not resorting back to that, I'm just saying I'm not sure I've heard of it with Salines or not.

heart attack. A doc once told me if you press on your chest and there's soreness -it's your lungs and not your heart, and to use that as a basic measure when I wasn't sure which was which.) It's pain that comes worse when my lungs are full -especially if I take a deep breath. When I lay flat, it's worse. At night, some nights, I lay there almost in tears because it hurts so bad to breathe if I breathe in too much. My doctor is sending me for a chest xray, and pulmonary tests as well as a sleep study. (I'm familiar with each, because my dad is dying of these types of issues.) The cartilage on my ribs STAYS inflamed (and have for about 7 years), but it's another symptom that I'm not sure if it could be related or not. Anyone else have lung issues?(Again, I'm not

referring to any kind of panic or anxiety attack. It's something physical.) I've heard of lung problems with SILICONE, but not SALINES... ? Thanks in advance! Prayers to all, Brigite :)

Ladies, I have had lung problems for a few years, especially my right

side. I had pneumonia 5 times in 2-1/2 years -- 4 viral & 1

bacterial. One of the chest x-rays I had, the doctor from the ER

said, " where did you say your pain was? " I replied, " my right lung "

he said, " that's strange cuz you have a 2 inch long blob in your left

upper lung. And one of your implants doesn't show up from the

back. " Hmmmmmm.....what do you suppose THAT means?? Yet, when my

family doc got a copy of this x-ray he didn't say boo.

I had some sharp pains happening starting 3 days ago...I thought it

was because I've been packing and moving, possible overdoing it.

This morning I woke up with a really sore throat, and congestion

plus. Hard time breathing. I have puffers to use on occasion, but I

prefer Brazilian Tea from Herbalife. It's great....can stop an asthma

attack right on the spot. With my financial situation, I have to use

what is in my cupboards right now. Thank God garlic is inexpensive

and I am an old Ukrainian and love it!!! lol

I know it'll take time to detox and heal....I'm taking Vitamin E

inernally also to heal scar tissue. My incisions look great after 4

weeks of Vitamin oil squeezed on them and rubbed in.

Hope you all have a great sleep tonight,

Love,

Sunny :)

I had terrible pains in my chest with the implants. Sometimes when I breathed, other times even when I was laying down. Certain lying down positions would give me terrible pain, which added to my already extreme difficulty sleeping. I believe the pain was caused by the weight of the implants pulling on the surrounding muscles, and over time the muscles developed trigger points of pain. This happens often in areas of the body that are injured or overused.

Since explant, no chest pain.

Bindi, my pains have subsided post-explant as well. Isn't it

wonderful to be getting better? Looking forward to feeling even

better in the future. Hopefully, my right side will heal completely.

I'll believe it will!!

hi Brigite - Yes, I sure have - lung problems that no regular doctor

could figure out. They did xrays, steroid shots (eesh) and couldn't

figure out the pain. I do not like western medicine as a rule, nor

most MDs, so for me to go in was a big deal. I was then sent for an

EKG after getting pains in the left side. Of course, they found

nothing. A sweet doctor in CA told me he was stumped, and then

said 'well, could it be something with your implants'? I actually

blew that idea off, so conditioned was I that they were 'safe'. I

didn't have insurance at the time, so all these tests, etc, for

nothing, left me even more bitter. I ended up calling my ps, at the

suggestion of the nice dr., and he told me it was just the

formation of scar tissue. I have mild asthma now, too, but can keep

in check with what I eat. All those crazy tests and no diagnosis.

It comes and goes too - I am more healthy now and do not get as

frequent mystery episodes. When I did it was always when I was

reclining as well - feeling like a great weight was placed on me and

was crushing my mid section. I love a eucylptus spray - I suppose

it's like a liquid vicks, but with no red dye number whatever ;).

It is called VAX euclyptus oil. while many associate it with

relieving stuffy noses, psychological it made my lungs feel more

open. I spray it around me or on a tissue. You can rub it on your

chest too. Health food stores usually have it. Don't know if you

are open to or feel up to some yoga, but I found the local library

has a good selection of yoga tapes/dvds for beginners. They do not

have to be difficult. Even a park district teacher might meet w/

you for one session and you could ask for gentle lung/heart opener

poses. You could tell her what your needs are 'something to ease

panic, create more space in my lungs, alleviate fears, etc' and

she'd tranlate that into some gentle healing exercises you can do at

home. I do yoga regularly now and it has been so healing for me.

Some of the 'heart openers' always make me feel like I have more

space in my chest, and it calms me down. Brigite, I am so sorry

you are going through that - I don't recall, when are you getting

yours out?
