Can you tell me what your symptoms were before explantation? Can you tell me about your explantation process and how it was? Did you cope well with not having larger breasts? Doctors say it's anxiety, but I know what anxiety is! I have had metal poisoning blood tests. Full panel blood tests. Abdominal ultra sounds. Colonscopy. All came back normal. Are there any other tests that you can think of that might help prove something is wrong? Something tangible? So people don't think I am crazy. Probiotics are live organisms that replace those organisms that have been killed off by a suppressed immune system. Look at it this way. Everyone has both negative and positive organism (flora) in their body. Normally, they live in harmony. They help to break down foods into nutrients and provide a favorable environment. But, when we take antibiotics, steroids or have a suppressed immune system, the negative organisms get the upper hand as the positive organisims get killed off. Doctors normally don't test for platinum . .. .In fact, there is very little science on what platinum does to the human body. I'd suggest creating a daily journal of what you're doing and how you feel. Progress can be so slow that we don't think we're getting better. But, with a journal, not only will you be able to see what helps, but when you hit those bumps where you don't think anything is happening, you'll be able to look back and see how far you've come. My kinesiologist explained to me later that what medical professionals think is normal really isn't. They are constantly changing the "normal range" with society. We increasingly getting sicker as a nation, so standards have to change to fit largrer numbers of people out there that are sick and still functioning. These are the "normal" we have now. They didn't, and left it to the doctors as to how often to do this. My tests came back negative as well. I surely wish that there was a way we could prove that it is our implants causing us these illnesses. Some test, some way to show for sure, so we could put our fears and questions to rest. But the simple truth is that we cannot prove it. If we could, the Dow lawsuit would have been a slam dunk for all the women, and breast implants would be history. The only way we can deal with this implant nightmare is to go with our gut instincts and trust what we know to be true...that we were healthy before we got implants, sick afterwards and when we see women getting better after explant--this time with PROOF IN THE BLOODWORK, (such as ANA's returning to normal, antibodies going down, rheumatoid factor going back to normal, etc, etc., not to mention the many symptoms that disappear after explant), we know without a doubt that we are on the right track. Implant cause immune system issues. The proof comes in the healing upon explant.
