Are you talking about the preschool at the CS Center?? What happened?

PS He'll do fine in preschool. It's harder on mom than on the child.

Jake may react well if you take him back to the school once or twice for a

visit this week (just to pop in to walk around, for example). You may need

to be clear about " visiting the school " and " going to school to learn " so

that, when Monday rolls around, you don't find yourself with a child who

figures he's visiting... The more often he's at the school ahead of time,

the more comfortable he will be later.

Relax about his reaction to school. Even the kids who come to my school in

grade 9 are nervous. They love it if they can tour ahead of time and find

out where all their classrooms are. They REALLY love it when they meet their

teachers ahead of time! Knowledge is power (and comfort)!
