Guest guest
I wish I had 4 of me one of me for each child and one to clean this house. Amen to this. When do you think they are going to move from cloning sheep to cloning moms? (big smile) It seems really odd to sit here and read some of these nightmare stories and remember my own and I add new ones just about everyday. I remember taking my two children that are HoH out into the carport to see if they could hear a car horn beeping then going over and over safety rules: look both ways before crossing the street, etc. I think the biggest thing that has helped my son is that I tried to teach him not to depend on his ears, but to always use his eyes and his feelings. I have always tried to explain to him that he may not always hear a warning signal so he has to always be visually in tune with his environment. But we still have those days when he just walks right across a parking lot without even looking and just barely makes it and I almost die of a heart attack. I do have to say that he is more careful than my daughter though, she hardly ever looks, but he is more daring and sneaky. I guess all of this goes for my " normal " son also though so I guess some of it is just " kid. " I know it's hard and I hope your son lets you get some much needed sleep soon. LOL.
