HSP Symposium--Seekonk, Massachusetts

I will be attending a meeting this coming Saturday about hereditary

spastic paraparesis (HSP)--a syndrome strikingly similar to PLS. (I

question whether some PLS is actually HSP.)

Speaking will be Dr. K. Fink, Department of Neurology; Director,

Neurogenetic Disorders Clinic, University of Michigan; and Dr. Gilmore

N. O'Neill, Massachusetts General Hospital, neurologist and

researcher.

I also intend to schmooze, kabitz and explore whether:

1) some PLS and HSP are actually the same disorder, and, if so,

2) whether PLSers and HSPers should get together.

It should be an interesting day.
