privately. The response has truly touched me. This really is a wonderful

place to be.

Thank you for sharing your story and your thoughts. It really is good to

remember that, at different times in our lives, we all are blessed and we

all are tested. I have always believed that there is a cosmic order to the

universe, and that while I may not always understand why things happen,

there is a reason, and I just need to trust it.

Oddly enough, I was talking several years ago to a good friend of mine,

laughingly complaining about another friend whose life seems blessed: she's

seemingly had no hardships, she lives a nice life with a loving family in a

serene town, really nothing to complain about; and I was saying " she lives

a charmed life " . Well, the friend I was speaking to turned to me and said,

very seriously, " Why, I've always felt YOU live a charmed life! " and

proceeded to tell me why. It's a good idea to have friends who can point

out to us just how good our lives look to others, when we're convinced

otherwise.

Anyway, that's my thought for the day --
