Guest guest
Patty, Thanks for getting back to me and I am sorry I am just now reading this. I had changed my mail delivery options so that I am now not getting all the post in my mail. It was so much and I could not read it all. So if anyone has a question about Dr. Kolb and need a response quick just e mail me at adkrick@.... I will try to check the post every week or so. As for the shutterfly pictures, I could not figure it out either. I messed up and sent two sets for some reason. My collection of pictures if anyone looks at them includes me before implants, with implants and after explant. I had tubular shaped brest before implant and Dr. kolb took care of that and fixrc it. She is a gift for sure. I have no scars at all. My condition is Graves Diease. It has lead to the hyperthyriodism and I am currently taking 5 mlg of tapizole. My doctor says that I can't stay on this for much longer becasue it has harsh side effects. However the only other option he has given me is the raioactive iodine and that will basically kill the thyriod and make me hypothyriod and then I will take synthroid for the rest of my life. He says that synthriod has less long tern side effects and that I can take that when I want to have a baby. I will be getting married this summer and I hope to have a child in the next four years. I am 36 now, so I really feel I should not wait too much longer. However I can't take the tapizole while pregnant. So I'm praying that somehow I will be able to reduce the stress in my life that I will be able to get off the tapizole so I can try to have a baby without having to do the radioactive iodine. That option just dones not sound good to me. I have been readin alot of books on thyroid diease and I feel that stress is what is the main triggor for graves diease. Well I better go for now. I would love to hear from anyone who may be going through some of the same things I am. E mail me at my address above if you like. Take care ladies and stay strong. Remember to keep your stress levels down becasue that only will triggor your symptoms and try to get LOTS of sleep. I was almost off my tapizole this summer when I was getting at least 8 hours of sleep with very little stress taking place. Take care, Allyson > > Hi Allyson! > It's so nice to hear from you! I checked out the Shutterfly collection of albums, and I am having a hard time finding the " delete " button for making any changes at all. I'm stumped actually. Since I created the site, I would think I would have some control over it, but it doesn't appear so. I'll keep working on it though. > By the way, your pictures look great! You got lucky with so little scars! > What is the thyroid condition you are dealing with? (So many of us have hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's) Are you taking any thyroid meds? > Thanks for writing in to give us an update! > Patty > > > Patty > > Hello Patty and ladies, > I hope all is well.
