Guest guest
Hi Patty, I have not seen her yet its going to cost me £259.00 before any tests or treatment so I am saving up. My osteopath wants to have a look at the tests she does and he is away until next Friday, he will tell me what he thinks and I really value and trust his opinion. I am also looking to find an ME/CFS specialist which is proving difficult in London. I could see one but I am looking for someone who's recommended. I have wasted so much money over the years that I am making as sure as I possibly can that its worth paying out for. I have been doing the liver dettox with castor oil and a heat pad, I have not had any results with that yet but I will give it another go. Its so kind of you to remember what is going on with me I really appreciate you asking. One piece of good news, I have gone a week without any dizziness.......I cannot believe it, I am touching wood that it does not come back as I hate it more than anything. Thank you for being so caring. Love Sue. Another piece of good news, my daughter andra has just passed her degree at university, she is now an interior design architect, I am one very proud mother,xx
Guest guest
Sue, Maybe I missed this while I was gone, but how did things work out with the naturopathic doctor that you went to? Are you still waiting on test results? (Did you go forward with those?) Guest guest
Sue, I'm soooooooo glad to hear you are making progress with your dizziness! . . . And congradulations on getting that daughter through school! . . . Wonderful! Please give her our congraduations! I know what you mean about doctors and tests! . . . Thankfully, all my (conventional) medical costs are covered now . . . Even then, I find myself wondering if the doctors are worth the effort! I had my post-radiation checkup yesterday . . . I'm afraid they're upset that I'm not going to take the post-cancer drug . . . And I think they're laughing at some of the things I believe! . . . I did ask for the thyroid tests that Sherry recommended. . . Doctor didn't want to do them (he did though) - said there's no connection between breast cancer and thyroid - even as he read the abstract saying so. I don't think the oncologist really wants me to continue with him since he won't be able to monitor the meds! Oh well, once they get those degrees, it must be guarded carefully. Guest guest
Sue,That is fantastic about your dizziness being gone for a week! I surely hope it stays away too. I am really happy for you! Maybe you are rounding a bend in your healing. Just maybe that liver flushing is doing you some real good! Keep it up...it doesn't work overnight, and maybe you are finally clearing things out and will see some significant changes as you continue cleansing.Dizziness and brain fog was also my worst symptom....my brain seemed like it had turned to mush and that brain fog and dizziness made me want to just break down and cry at times. I got so discouraged. It was horrible, horrible, horrible. I had it long enough...about 4 years or so, and actually while I don't have the dizziness anymore, sometimes I get a mild brain fog. I am really, really hoping this gluten free diet will fix that for good too. Actually, I probably should do a liver flush. We ate lots of ice cream in Illinois!Congratulations on your daughter's accomplishments! You are right to be a proud mom! : )Hugs,Pattygibbense@... wrote: Hi Patty, I have not seen her yet its going to cost me £259.00 before any tests or treatment so I am saving up. Guest guest
Sue Congratulations on your daughter. That is something to be proud of! I am thrilled to hear that you have been without dizziness for a week. That is one awful symptom. Do you know what has brought about the improvement? Stay encouraged. You will get better again! Guest guest
- Rogene How did your checkup go? And are you still feeling good? Who cares if they laugh? I don't. If you ask me, the great majority of doctors are a bunch of sheep. There are very few free thinking doctors. Guest guest
Thanks Kathy, My checkup went very well . . . I don't have the results of all the tests they ran, but those that were complete, I aced. I did have a question for both the person who did the bone scan and the oncologist . . . I mentioned that my massage therapist told me that there was a mesh-like substance forming between my scalp and skull . . . The radiologist asked me how a massage therapist would know that. . . I told her my massage therapist had worked at an autopsy center . . . When I asked the oncologist if that was true . . . He responded with a "Yep" and moved on to something else. . . He really didn't want to answer. I took the abstracts in that Sherry sent - connecting breast cancer and thyoid disfunction. . along with the tests that she recommended. . . He wasn't at all happy about that! . . . "There's no connection between the thyroid and breast cancer." . . . "doesn't apply to osteoprosis either" . . . When I went for lab work, I brought up the subject of the tests, they drew the extra blood in anticipation of his approval. He did approve the tests - grudgingly! They have to have the tests done elsewhere. Interesting day! . . . My feeling is that the reason for followup visits is more to monitor the effects of the medication than to check for new cancer . . . I hope I'm wrong though! Next week will be interesting too . . . colon exam - and probably a stomach exam too. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
- Rogene I would hate to have all those tests--especially colon. Yikes! I will be thinking of you. I sure like the way you don't let the medical personnel push you around. Hugs, Kathy -- In , Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: > > Thanks Kathy, > > My checkup went very well . . .
