Barbara Handley Eugene, Oregon " I felt part of everything, part of animal and bird, tree and stone. If I was part of everything, then I was also part of bridge and stream, of the sharp rocks beneath the water and the tumbling, rushing waters. Even if I fell into the waters, and even if I was swallowed up by them, I would still be part of it all. In such a world, such a universe, nothing terrible could happen to me. MA is a big state, with tons of opportunities. Which part of Mass were you thinking of? In western MA, there's Riverside Amusement Park, for one. For a picnic, there's a great little park in Northampton called Look Park that has picnic areas that can be reserved. It's a beautiful area. It also has a few small attractions like bumper boats, a small narrow gauge railroad, ballfields, a sprinkler park, and paddleboats. Costs a buck to get in. There are also lots of state parks and forests around, although lots of these sites can be booked, we'd have to check. There's also the beach in RI, CT, and MA. Anyone else from the area, chime in... Guest guest
The only portion of MA I am familiar with is the north shore area so I doubt I'll be much help.
