Thanks Sunny,

I will let you guys know how it goes. I wasn't able to use Dr.

Kolb...with my Dad ill from lung cancer...I needed to use someone

closer to me. I am confident he will do an excellent job.

Someone on explantation used him also.

, I also am using a PS in my local area. Living in Canada, I

do not have access to the doctors you gals do, however with God

guiding me, I have to trust He will have his hand on my surgery.

Lots of Love & Healing Prayers for you and yours,

Sunny :)

Hi Sunny,

I know God will have a hand in it and you will be more than fine

when it is over.

I felt such relief,....when I got home last night, that this phase

of it was over. The plus side was that I felt pretty darn good and

even better today. A little sore around the drain area....but that

was it since the pain killers took care of the rest. I have not had

to take many of the pain pills.

As long as he/she is a good surgeon and does what you want ...Sunny

you will be in good hands. Your surgery is when? Is it at the end

of July. It is hard for me to keep everones dates straight.

, thank you for the kind message. My surger is July 26 in Red

Deer, Alberta. My PS is Dr. Furness - not the greatest bedside

manner, but a meticulous surgeon, I understand. I though of what to

do in the OR to ensure he " impresses " colleagues - I'm going to ask

him specifically, just before I go under. what I understand it is

that he will be doing, so everyone there will be expecting him to do

just that. A little manipulation in the right direction!! lol

I'm glad you're feeling better. When was your explant? I forget.

Love & Healing Hugs,

Sunny :)

Sunny,

My explant was last Thursday....just 2 days ago. I hope you are able

to say that to your surgeon. I talked with mine right before....but

once the anesthesiologist came in....I remember nothing until they

woke me up!! Which is a good thing.

You have less than 20 days to go....!!! The waiting was the worst

part for me.

Bless you Sunny..for you are a wonderful and caring woman and I just

know you will do well.

, so happy you are explanted! Yes, it's just around the corner -

-I have a busy month, so I'm trying to take it easy and not get

sick. My right lung is congested most of the time, and now I have

slight viral pneumonia. It should clear up before the 26th though.

Thanks for your support, too and I will be praying for you daily!

Love & Healing, healing, healing...

Thanks Sunny. I have been having a slight fever each day...less

than 100. So...when I go to have the drains taken out I'll talk to

the doctor about that again.

I am anxious for you to have your surgery.....and you are right, it

is just around the corner. I hope you are able to shake that little

bit of viral pnuemonia....

I will sa

nothing serious. Maybe a slight infection...good to check it out.

Sunny, yes I live in the U.S. , in Virginia. The nurse of my

plastic surgeon said it was normal to have a slight fever and only

to worry about it if it gets to 102 degrees. The last day or so, I

have been feeling better where that low grade fever is concerned.

The lymph node behind my ear is less painful and the one on the side

of my neck doesn't seem as large. She said surgery such as this

stirs up all sorts of " stuff " .

I also have a lot of stitches as he did a T lift on me...so perhaps

a bit more traumatic than going in thru the areola....more stitches

equals more " healing " ??? Don't know if that is quite accurate but

makes sense to me.

My skin rash is fading and almost gone. The real test will be to

see if it stays gone after I am off the antibiotics.

My skin is more moist....and since it has been 6 days after surgery,

I don't think this it is from the liter and a half of saline

IV....LOLOL

My nails....are growing by leaps and bounds and I am not on vitamins

yet. My hair is shiny again. I stopped taking " all the supplements

and vitamins " about 2 to 3 weeks prior to surgery. (I wanted to go

back to baseline and give my own body a chance with the implants out

of me).

My kidneys seem to be functioning better....as I am " going "

frequently and in response to the water I drink . Before, it was as

if they were somewhat blocked or inflamed or something......

I don't have the neck pain or the shoulder pain....and am not on

pain meds. My fingers and joints of my fingers are starting to look

like " my " fingers....where before they seemed swollen.

I went to a nephrologist the day before my surgery (because it had

been booked for 2 months). He ran a lot of tests...one being for

lupus and another for kidney vasculitis ...and some other things

that can affect the kidneys. Am waiting on those results....and

should get them some time this week....I hope.....

Sunny, I can't wait for you to have your surgery. Sometimes it is

the small stuff, like some of the stuff I mentioned that encourages

me to think that simply getting them out has immediate benefits to

our bodies. These are " real " ...signs of improvement for me.

Take care

, it sure sounds like you're healing in leaps and bounds. Have

you heard of Vitamin E (poke the capsules and put it on the scar

tissue, after the incision is closed.) It heals the scar tissue so

well, it isn't even noticable after 6-8 weeks. I've done this with a

big happy smile, which I've had 3 major surgeries - using the same

scar. It's hardly there!

Continue to nurture and heal,

Lots of relaxing baths and candles,

Sunny :)

Vitamin E oil - I had some Vitamin E oil from Trader Joes and tried

it on one scar and not the other. The raised feeling of the scar I

used it on dissappeared and became smooth so that you couldn't feel

it, though I could still see it. The other remained raised. I have

to admit I haven't kept up with it lately, despite such obvious

proof of it helping.
