Guest guest
, If you can find and afford a good naturopath, you may be better able to target your detox process. . . However, most of us don't have the access or money. I would recommend Kenda's naturopath. He's in Tulsa, OK . . .but does telephone consults, ordering tests that he feels necessary. The ladies who have used him have been well satisfied. I'd suggest starting with your diet . . . "The Maker's Diet" is great. Rubin has a subsequent book . . Something like "The Great Physician's RX" . . . Check www.iherb.com for books and products. Eliminate as many chemicals from your environment as possible. . . Cleaning products are biggies . . . Also fabric softeners, scents . . Processsed foods . . .the goal is to reduce your exposure to chemicals while you reduce the toxin load your body is carrying. Later you should be able to tolerate them to a certain extent. Drinking plenty of non-chlorinated water is very important . . 1/2 ounce per pound of body weight daily. Gentle exercise . . . even if it's just increasing it by a minute at a time . . . Movement help move body fluids, providing oxygen to the brain and muscles. . . It also helps flush lymph fluids. There are so many supplements! . . . After you read "The Maker's Diet", you'll probably be loaded with them . . . so I'm not getting into those - except to say that almost all implanted women have a systemic Candida/fungal problem . . . Once this gets under control, it will get much easier. I believe that, when one makes a major life change (like this diet is), easy does it. If you try to change too abruptly, you may feel stressed and overwhelmed . . . Consider making one change at a time . . . Find foods you enjoy to replace those you have to eliminate. The hardest, for most women, is eliminating sugar. . . The little fungal organisms thrive on sugar and will scream "feed me, feed me, feed me"! . . . Once you get these organisms under control, the cravings will stop, and sweets will taste too sweet. There are other things . . . Epsom Salt baths, clay baths, coffee enemas, liver/gall bladder flushes, far infrared sauna, detox foot pads and baths, fasts plus a host of detox supplement supplements. Check our archives for more ideas. Personally, I go by my gut feeling . .. If something can't cause further harm, and if I'm drawn to it, I'll give it a try. If I feel repelled by it, I skip it. There's no single way to detox. . . If you'll keep a journal of what you try and how you feel with it, you'll begin to see a pattern of what works. Just keep in mind that, when a detox program hits its target, you may experience a Herxheimer (herx) effect that will make you feel worse temporarily. After you learn to recognize and control the herxes, you'll actually be happy when you feel bad. (Does that make sense?) . . . Recovering isn't a straight line either . . . everyone has good days and bad days . . . the goal is to get the bad days as far apart as possible until they disappear. Never, but never, give up! . . . Also . . . avoid toxic people and stress as much as possible . . . Learn how to channel anger into positive energy. . . Negative emotions can be deadly! . . . Learn to recognize them and manage them. . . . I also believe that renewing our spiritual connection is very, very important. . . When we put our lives in God's hands, He will lead us to what we need, when we need it. Hugs and prayers, Rogene
