Thanks for sharing that. Were you happy with your doctor? Did he or she believe in silicone poisoning? If so, could you please email me his or her name and city? I'm in WV, so that might not be too far from me. I know every patient varies, but I mainly need to get into a doctor who actually believes in this and get a quote and go from there.

I don't have $5,000 (or more) either way, but at the same time I'd like to have a doctor ready in case I ever do get it. Every place I've checked, they've wanted upwards of $8g for the lift part alone...it would be WONDERFUL to do them both at the same time -though I'd settle for no lift if I had to.

(I know I'll need a lift. A to DD for the past 9 years -a lot of skin.)

Thanks,

Brigite

Brigite,I am from Va. My surgeon is also in Va. My fees totaled about $5000.00 and that was for explant enbloc/capsulectomy and a full T lift. It did not include any fees for tests. I don't know which ones I will have done but my surgeon took all the samples. I saw my capsules and implants...etc. I felt my quote was low compared to others....but I think you will find anything from $5,000 to $11,000 depending on tests.

I'm also in Virginia, I'd love to know which surgeon you used for explant? Were you happy with your results?

Thanks,
