I feel your pain there oh so well....... My /Neuro appt was in the same bldg as my original PS - the "only saltwater" guys bldg yesterday.... i had to walk past it.... eeeekkkkk

Ya know - I ought to re-post a story of something I did there a few years back for some of the newbies here... twas naughty but felt soooo goood....... anyways I was tempted but didn't do it yesterday as I was too upset.... Only saltwater as I look into a pic taken three years ago - a pic of my implants right after explant all filled with mold and plantlife.... it is in the pic section here still i believe.... sooo gross....

only salt water - oh yeah - and maybe a little mold, mildew, microbes, etc....

dang that comment always makes me angry as well!!

I hate that "it's just saltwater" comment. I guess it is because I used to believe in the same thing. This is how my doctor explained how it is safer than silicone gel. This is how I was nieve. I trusted an educated professional when he said that I will be ok. So many people trust their doctors way too much. (Like I did!) BSBanshee1@... wrote: Dawn,

IT'S ONLY SALTWATER that is laughable my implants had stuff floating around in them when they were removed. How terrible to think we are so misguided about the whole salt water thing.
