12th Annual African-American Men's Health Summit

On March 29, the Central Florida Pharmacy Council will hold a one-day health

education conference to look at health issues crucial to African-American men.

The conference is aimed at African-American men, and will explore prevention

and early detection strategies for some of the most common diseases that these

men experience, as well as offering free screenings for prostate cancer,

cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, oral cancer, HIV, and H Pylori. Keynote

speakers will include Ossie , Dick , Therman , Earl “The

Pearl” Monroe, and Rev. Barbara King.
