I don't "think" Medicare pre-approves anything, though, so I'd think a doc would still probably make you pay up front. (Same boat here.) Guest guest Posted July 9, 2006 Report Share Posted July 9, 2006 I know for an absolute certainty that Dr. Huang has taken Medicaid and Medicare to remove implants. But, the medical necessity standards still apply. You must have a very good reason, Baker 3 or 4 hardness, pain, rupture, or some other reason that 2 doctors will say it is a medical necessity to remove them.
