I'm not familiar with dandylion Coffee BUT if it's roasted like

coffee is, I would say that it would possibly have lost many

nutrients.

I've made a brew using a cup of dried root and a 2 cups of water and

boil down to 1 cup. Then take 2-3 TBLSP 3 times a day. - good tonic

for liver.

Hi nne,

I just recently discovered how good dandelion rootis for liver, so

have to wait until the snow goes before I can harvest my own.

I bought it from a woman who has her own organic herb farm.

I'll have no trouble getting enough once it is spring. I have a

large organic garden and we let the weeds grow in the path ways. The

dandylions are record size and easy to harvest because of the loose

earth. I can hardly wait.

I guess that , in the meantime, one might sprout chicory seeds (a

relative of dandelion) in a window box.

We are lucky enough to have a greenhouse and I do think that I may well start

off some dandelion in there. I will grow it separately in a couple of tubs

so that it does not spread all over the place and invade the organic veggie

patches. Thanks for the info.
