Guest guest
I've had my implants since 1988. I've developed a capsule around one of the implants and it can be painful and very uncomfortable at times. I went back to the plastic surgeon who did the surgery in 1988 and he said the best thing to do is leave them where they are, capsule and all. The doctor indicated that I would be more miserable than my current situation. He said I would have a set of " flat tires " and pain I hadn't counted on before. This was very devastating. I would like to ask you if you know of anyone knows of a doctor in Canada (Ontario) who knows how to properly deal with this situation with compassion and medical expertise. I feel like a freak however, now that I've found this group I feel there may be hope for me. I'm only 38 years old and can't imagine living out the rest of my days with a bowling ball for a right breast (left one is still okay). I don't know if this is related, I'm also a nine year survivor of uterine cancer. God Bless, Traci
