Guest guest
I sent the article that was posted here today regarding iodine and breast cancer to Dr. Leu. Here is what he wrote me. I'm going to have the test run. I believe there is some truth to it, but not that EVERYONE who is hypothyroid needs iodine. As a matter of fact, if you think about it, T3 is a carrier for the iodine molecule to our cells, because the T 3 is a tyrosine molecule with iodine molecules hooked on it. So the thyroid hormone IS delivering iodine to all cells, even breast tissue. I do believe some of us need more iodine, and we probably need to be checking iodine levels more frequently. This is why we went to the conference in Puerto Rico last year, on this very subject. I am using a little more iodine therapy, but need to test more for it. The next conference on it is in Vermont next month. If you want, I'll order us a couple of iodine test kits and the Iodoral. Kenda
